Next HAM Gallery artists have been selected

HAM received altogether 477 applications for becoming HAM Gallery exhibitions. Eight artists were offered the opportunity to hold an exhibition at the gallery. A jury consisting of HAM curators Heli Harni and Saara Karhunen with Nayab Ikram and Ramina Habibollah as external representatives made the selection. The jury presented their proposal to the director of HAM, Maija Tanninen-Mattila, who made a decision on the exhibition program.

The selection was based on the following criteria: The applications of the selected artists present topical phenomena in the visual arts open-mindedly and to a high standard. The selected exhibition program thus implements the profile of the HAM gallery.
