The Outsider Art Festival OAF is coming to HAM 12–21 August 2022

The 2022 Outsider Art Festival features a multidisciplinary programme of art with over 20 events to be held in different parts of the city and online. Under the direction of OAF guides, participants can look forward to singing karaoke at Kansalaistori square, discovering art exhibitions at HAM and the Pertti’s Choice gallery in Hakaniemi, and enjoying the energy of live concerts at G Livelab. The festival will also include film screenings at Oodi’s Kino Regina and the OAF Online Stage. OAF X HAM Corner

The OAF programme at HAM Corner from 12 to 21 August features workshops; discussions with artists, curators and mentors; karaoke singing; performances and a group exhibition. See the full programme here.


OAF group exhibition

The OAF group exhibition features works by Maarit HedmanNick AlfredNikke LiinamaaPanu “Prinssi” PalmPäivi PlyhmSalla KarppanenValtteri Kleemola and Satu and Maria Tani. The exhibition mirrors reality and emotional experience, sometimes even with a slice of humour and irony. The exhibition is curated by Riina Noro, Milla Göös, Jani Leinonen and Pekka Elomaa. The OAF exhibition guides consist of the working groups of Autism Foundation Finland and Pertti’s Choice and young residents of Helsinki. The works will be displayed at HAM Corner and the museum’s lobby from 12 to 21 August 2022 (closed on Monday 15 August 2022). Read more about the exhibition here.
