In 1988, the Church of Michael in Kontula situated east of Helsinki city centre, erected a 5-metre, cross-bearing figure. The bronze sculpture is the archangel Michael, after which the church was named. The sculpture is also known as Path of the Cross.

The work doesn't belong to the collections of the Helsinki Art Museum.
