Lapsia sateenvarjon alla / Children Under the Umbrella
The piece portrays two children in the middle of a fountain, standing under an umbrella to protect themselves from the water. The children and the umbrella are portrayed realistically but slightly smaller than life size.
The work was earlier located in the Esplanade park in front of the stage from where it was transferred to Linnanmäki in 1951, apparently as a donation by the City. The work doesn't belong to the collections of the Helsinki Art Museum.
