Book tickets “Helsinki Biennial’s central aim is to make high-quality international and Finnish contemporary art accessible to all Helsini residents. That is why ensuring broad access to Vallisaari Island is so important. For this reason, the City of Helsinki is offering three days of complimentary ferry service to Vallisaari,” says Helsinki Deputy Mayor for Culture and Leisure, Paavo Arhinmäki. In addition to the free entry days open to all, the City of Helsinki has invited pupils in grades 1–9 to enjoy free visits to Vallisaari Island in August–September 2025. The city will provide free ferry tickets for up to 10,000 comprehensive school pupils. The visits will be organised through the schools. Artwork in the image: Pia Sirén: Under Cover, 2025.
