Art with children: Making a relief with natural clay 

Come and enjoy creative time with your child! 

HAM’s Art with Children workshop offers the opportunity to do something, learn, and spend time together in the midst of daily life. During the workshop, both adult and child will have the chance to explore the museum and make art together.

At the start of the workshop we will briefly explore the museum’s current exhibitions, where we will examine and marvel at the artworks together. We will then create one shared piece of art as a group, using a variety of art techniques. Depending on their age level, the children and their adults can also make their own pieces.

Making a relief with natural clay 

At this art workshop we will be moulding plant or animal themed reliefs from self-hardening natural clay. We will combine shape, space and narrative in our work. The reliefs can be coloured by painting the surface afterwards, or by adding colourants directly into the clay.
