Artist Laura Cemin will hold a workshop relating to her exhibition Paper notes and pinecones. The exhibition looks at the process of adaptation that bodies undergo when moving to a different cultural and linguistic landscape.

During this interactive session, Laura Cemin and the performers from Paper Notes and Pinecones will delve into their research methods and tools used in creating the exhibition. Together, we will explore how body language transforms when communicating in a different language and adapting to a new cultural environment through movement, voice exercises, and writing.

This workshop is designed primarily for individuals not born in Finland, although all are welcome to participate regardless of background or experience. No prior movement or performance experience is necessary. Limited to 15 participants.

The session includes a brief guided tour of the Paper Notes and Pinecones exhibition, conducted in English.

Duration: 2,5 hours
Location: HAM hall (HAM-sali)
