Nina Terno’s (1935-2003) Carousel in the schoolyard of Laajasalo Comprehensive School’s Sideschool building depicts two carousel horses. The sculpture rests on a cubical plinth and a rising base made of stones. The sculpture itself is cast in concrete with rock aggregate.
The work belongs to the City of Helsinki’s art collection, which is managed and curated by HAM.
