Anu Kiiskinen: Nocturnal, 1999. © Photo: HAM Helsinki Art Museum / Hanna Kukorelli Nocturnal Artist Anu Kiiskinen Arabianmäki, Helsinki This Nocturnal environment work was borne from the collaboration for the Arabianmäki park at the end of the 1990s. The work’s grey steel columns are attached to each other by a metal construction on their upper parts. The lighting functions similarly from the 7.5 metre high columns as they rhythmically curve through in the environments of the park’s square. The work functions as a bridging element between the Arabia factory and the School of Art & Design buildings and the park located on the other side of Hämeentie. The work belongs to the City of Helsinki’s art collection, which is managed and curated by HAM. Read more.. At map
