Ystävyyspäivän muistokivi / Memorial to the day of friendship

Among the numerous sculptures and memorials in the Kaisaniemi park there is also a memorial stone to the friendship between the youth of Finland and the Soviet Union. A plaque is attached to the stone with the text: “Suomen ja Neuvostoliiton nuorison ystävyyspäivä 31.7.1962” (The day of friendship between the youths of Finland and the Soviet Union, June 31, 1962).
