Mementos from the Weaving Club

If you’d like to take home a little memento from the Weaving Club, come along on Sunday at 11 am. We will be handing out 60 pre-packed gift bags, each containing a piece of collaboratively woven textile.
Please note that the gift bags are pre-packed, so we cannot guarantee that you will receive the particular piece you helped create yourself. Surprise gift bags will be handed out while supplies last.
More than 10,000 visitors have already taken part in the Weaving Club during Magdalena Abakanowicz’s exhibition! Over the course of 3.5 months, more than 27 kilometers of yarn has been used. Most wonderful of all has been seeing how this shared activity has captivated visitors of all ages, from toddlers to older visitors – and how, by the warp threads, a shared language has not always been needed. A warm thank you to everyone who has visited us and made these encounters so memorable!
There’s still time to join us for the final days of the Weaving Club! The Weaving Club will be open on both Saturday and Sunday from 11 am to 5 pm during the final weekend of Magdalena Abakanowicz: Crossing Boundaries exhibition. Textile designer Rosa Tolnov Clausen will also be there weaving together with visitors.
