© Image: Kuvasto Landscape Behind a Curtain Noora Schroderus Oulunkylän perhetukikeskus (Oulunkylän vastaanotto), Harjantekijäntie 2, 00640 Helsinki Indoor Sculpture Noora Schroderus’s (b. 1982, Pirkkala) work Landscape Behind a Curtain consists of three parts: a sculpture in the yard and two reliefs on the wall of the centre’s meeting room. With their valleys and ridges, the forms in the sculptural reliefs bring glaciers to mind. They appear to radiate a cold, white light, an impression created by LED lights behind the plastic reliefs. Atop the glaciers stand tiny aluminium penguins, either alone or in groups. Some are looking at other penguins, while others are peering up to the sky. The work was produced under the Percent for Art programme, and it belongs to the collection of the City of Helsinki, managed by HAM Helsinki Art Museum. At map
