Guidance options
On this relaxed 20-minute mini-tour, you will explore Magdalena Abakanowicz: Crossing Boundaries exhibition’s artworks with a guide. During the tour, we’ll view 1–4 works together, and the guide will introduce the exhibition’s themes and share fascinating stories about the artist. After the mini tour, you can explore the exhibition further at your own pace.

Intro is a short presentation that introduces you to the highlights of Leena Luostarinen’s Misfit exhibition. The guide presents the exhibition’s themes and central works with images and shares fascinating stories about the life of the artist. Participants will follow the presentation seated in the tranquil HAM hall, after which you can tour the exhibition at your own pace.
Price: Tues-Sat 80 € and Sun 140 € + admissions.

Choose an exhibition that suits your group. During the tour, you’ll walk through the exhibition of your choice with a guide and explore the works on display. The guide will introduce you to the exhibition’s themes and tell you more about the artists. There will be time for questions and discussion during the tour.

On this guided tour, we will explore HAM’s current exhibitions through key works chosen by the guide. This guided tour provides you a good overview of the exhibitions and the history of Tennis Palace.

Guided tours are available in Finnish, Swedish, and English.
Availability
Guided tours must be booked at least 10 days in advance of the desired tour date. Guided tours are available during the museum’s opening hours. You can book a guided tour using the booking form on our website, by email, or by phone.
Admission
Admission is not included in the price of a guided tour. The admission price for participants is €12 (€0 with a Museum Card). Admission costs will be added to your booking when your group arrives at the museum. See our full price list here.
Group size
The maximum group size for a guided tour is 25 people. If your group is bigger, we can book you several tours according to availability. When visiting with a group of more than 25 people, please book your tour by email hamvaraukset@hamhelsinki.fi.
Paying
You can pay for the tour using cash or card at the ticket counter. Payment by invoice is only available with business ID. Fill in the booker’s details and the company’s invoicing information on the booking form or send the invoicing information in advance by email at hamvaraukset@hamhelsinki.fi. The invoice will be sent to the provided invoicing address after your visit.
Cancellations
Cancel your booking 7 days before the scheduled date at the latest (by e-mail hamvaraukset@hamhelsinki.fi). A cancellation fee €50 will be charged for any reservations that are cancelled later than this or that are not cancelled.
Art workshops for groups
A company team day or a pre-Christmas party? A birthday or a bachelor/bachelorette party? Unleash your creativity with your coworkers or friends at an art workshop.
Flora and Fauna – an acrylic painting workshop
At this workshop we will learn about acrylic painting and the techniques it requires. Acrylic paints dry fast, allowing for layered paintings to be created in a short space of time, and they are a suitable medium for both beginners and experienced painters.
We will start the workshop in the exhibition halls upstairs in the museum, where we will draft themes for our own work. Over the course of the workshop we will each paint our own plant- or animal-themed acrylic painting on canvas.
Duration: 2 hours

350 € / On Sundays 450 € (group of less than 10 people)
35 € per person / On Sundays 45 € per person (group of 10-25 persons)

Availability
Art workshops are available Wed–Fri from 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and Sat–Sun from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. As an exception, the art studio will be in use for other purposes from September 1 to October 11, 2026, and no private art workshops will be held during that time. You can book a workshop using the booking form on our website, by email, or by phone. Art workshops must be booked at least 10 days in advance of the desired tour date.
Price
The final price is determined according to the number of participants. The final price for your booking will be updated when your group arrives at the museum. Admission and materials are included in the workshop price.
