Artor Jesus Inkerö will chat with Flis Holland about their exhibition Off-Colour and its collisions of trans and celestial bodies.

Artor Jesus Inkerö (b. 1989, Finland) is a visual artist, who works with performance, drawing, video, sound, photography, painting and ceramics. The topics of their works vary from personal narratives to cultural and political questions. Inkerö’s works often create connections to questions about humanity, culture, diet and lifestyle. From 2019 to 2023 Inkerö has worked as a resident artist at the Somerset House in London, Centrale Fies in Italy and Rijksakademie van Beeldende Kunsten in Amsterdam.

Flis Holland (b. 1981, UK) uses sci-fi to find wiggle room within their trans experience. In 2022 they were shortlisted for Below Zero Finnish Art Prize and showed work at Pori Biennale (FI) and Bemis Center (US). They are currently in residence at HIAP.

The discussion will be held in English.

Flis Holland – Off-Colour is on show until June 4th, 2023.
