In the beginning of June 2015 the internationally best-known Finnish graffiti artist EGS took over HAM metro, and left it with two new pieces and a plastic bag full of street art archives. He has been presenting Finnish graffiti around the world for some 30 years. His work has been seen on walls around Europe, the United States, South America, Africa and Asia, in a total of 40 countries. EGS travels the world to paint, network and explore local graffiti cultures. His most recent works are abstract studies of the world map, and his most well-known works include a series of political pieces named after peace treaties. Throughout history, maps have been a means to rule the world. Conquerors have drawn lines on them to divide the world into areas, changing history to serve their own needs.
